The machine is made up of four modules:
LONGITUDINAL MODULE:
- Creates the top and bottom hem continuously using left and right sewing heads with hemmers created as for customer specifications.
- Aligns the fabric coming from a fabric roll.
- Possibility of working with the customer's trolley for rolls up to 5000m.
- Trims the material at the sides and removes waste.
- Possibility of inserting a reinforcing tape inside the upper hem.
- Possibility to insert a weight inside the lower hem of the curtain.
- Left sewing head: Pegasus chainstitch single needle
- Right sewing head: Rimoldi/ Kansai chainstitch 4 needles
EYELET MODULE:
Coming out of the sewing unit, the material enters the Eyelets module passing through a stock system.
The system applies eyelets at the top of the curtain with two adjustable eyelets systems.
The distance between the eyelets is adjustable.
Note: Eyelet machines are made according to customer's eyelets samples.
TRANSVERSAL MODULE:
- Curtains are measured and cut to the desired length.
- The cutting takes place with an ultrasound system to cauterize the cutting area.
- the curtain is hemmed on both sides with a belt advancement system.
- Stitching condension on the starting and ending points
- A label is applied on the right side inside the hem.
- Right and left sewing heads: Pegasus chainstitch single needle.
WINDING MODULE:
- Winding of the curtains through rotating shafts.
- The rolled up curtain is unloaded on a carpet exiting from the machine.
The entire system is equipped with presence control for each material used (fabric, thread, weight, eyelets).
